Welcome to Elton Brangus, owned and operated by Tony and Anne Maree Elton, and their Family. Situated in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia, the Elton herd is regularly subjected to extremes of environment and strict culling parameters, resulting in highly fertile functional cattle. The Registered herd was established in 2000 with a portion of the families Varunaco Brangus, first established in the early seventies. The aim of the Elton herd is to produce consistent, high quality Brangus cattle.
Tools such as BREEDPLAN, Ultrasound Eye Muscle Area and Fat scanning are used for monitoring growth, milk and and carcase quality. Artificial Insemination and Embryo Transfer technology with stringent culling are utilised regularly to produce and maintain the very highest quality Brangus possible.
